 Canton, NY
The Village of Canton is the population center of the Town and is an attractive college community with an historic business center, two golf courses, lovely parks and museums. It is home to two excellent universities, St. Lawrence University, a private four-year liberal arts college, and SUNY Canton, which offers two and four year degrees. The Village is also the County Seat of St. Lawrence County. Canton is proud to be the headquarters of an excellent public radio station, North Country Public Radio, 89.5 FM.
33 Park is within walking distance of St. Lawrence University, as well as the downtown which features a number of shopping and dining options.
Just 8 miles down the road is the Village of Potsdam, which is home to two more four-year colleges - Clarkson University and SUNY Potsdam.
